It must be nice to be a Democrat. A compliant, supportive media. Near-zero accountability. Celebrity supporters who will scream about the evils of billionaires and going to Yale while being Yale-educated billionaires themselves.
Kamala Harris has not sat down for an interview with that friendly media. She declined comment for a TIME Magazine puff piece, and said she'd maybe get around to scheduling an interview with some unnamed media outlet before the end of August.
This writer's calendar tells her it's August 26.
Tick tock, Kamala. Time's a-wastin'.
Anyway, after Kamala took over the Democratic Party nomination -- having received zero primary votes (yay democracy!) -- her team whined incessantly about holding Donald Trump to the debates he promised with Joe Biden.

Failure to continue with the terms set forth by the now-ousted Biden proved that Trump was somehow 'afraid' of Kamala.
Trump offered a third debate on Fox, which the Kamala camp refused.
We thought that was settled. Team Kamala demanded the same terms Trump negotiated with Biden, and Trump agreed.
But not so fast. Much like Lucy and the football, Kamala is trying to change the game at the last second
The Harris and Trump camps are at an impasse over rules ahead of the Sept 10 ABC debate.

The holdup? Whether the candidates’ microphones will be muted when it isn’t their turn to speak.
Team Trump wants them muted.
Team Harris wants the mics hot.https://t.co/FDrCdAnvzO
There is a lot of speculation as to why Kamala wants a hot mic, including so she can get a 'YAS KWEEN!' moment of her telling Trump 'I'm speaking.'
They also have to be hoping Trump speaks out of turn so Kamala can play the victim and say mean, ol' racist/sexist Trump just sucks.
I also believe she's so bad at speaking on her feet the debates will be an unmitigated disaster for her campaign, so she's trying to get Trump to drop out.
But that's looking at the small picture here. The big picture is this:
If Kamala is willing to blatantly, brazenly try this bait-and-switch with the debates, how can the American people trust her not to do the same with policy?
In short, we can't. Nor should we.
What has Kamala said she's in favor of? Let's recap:
- Australia-style gun confiscation
- Banning fracking
- Making private health insurance illegal
- Outlawing red meat
- Decriminalizing illegal immigration
- Close illegal immigration detention centers day one
- Defunding the police
- An arms embargo on Israel
- Seizing corporate patents
Some of these positions have been walked back by staffers, both anonymous and not.
They -- along with a cooperative media -- will insist Kamala doesn't hold the positions she spoke so earnestly and forcefully about just a few short years ago.
She's running a 'moderate' and 'mainstream' campaign, they'll say.
Sure. And I'm the Queen of England.
There have been countless reboots of Kamala. Back in November of last year, the White House was trying to fix Kamala's image for the umpteenth time because she had abysmally low approval ratings. TIME tried to 'reintroduce' her to us two weeks ago.
We don't need reboots or reintroductions though. We know who Kamala is and what she stands for.
She's a radical Leftist with communist leanings. One who believes the rules are for the little guy (you and me) and her political opponents, but not applicable to her. She shows us this daily.
If she and her campaign are so willing to play these games with debate rules, they'll do the same thing if she's elected president.
All the policies staffers said were off the table will be Executive Orders on the Resolute Desk for her signature the second she takes the oath of office.
Kamala Harris is a liar and a hypocrite, and she's unfit for office.
