I mean, come on.
Huge shoutout to Maze for digging up and putting together that killer video that shows the before-and-after in all its glorious hypocrisy. It’s the kind of side-by-side that makes you laugh out loud because it’s so on the nose. Ruffalo’s religion has clearly always been climate alarmism, but the high priest apparently gets to rewrite the commandments whenever it’s convenient. One minute Elon is the climate savior, the next he’s public enemy number one because the latest outrage cycle demands it.

Back in 2014 the guy was out here telling everyone that if they really wanted to save the planet, they should go buy Elon Musk’s products. Tesla this, renewable energy that—he was basically an unofficial spokesperson for the Musk industrial revolution. Fast forward to 2026 and suddenly Elon is the most evil person alive, apparently responsible for killing millions with his “ridiculous” decisions. The same actor who once preached moving to 100 percent renewable energy as our only hope is now trashing the guy who actually built the companies making electric cars and solar tech mainstream. It’s almost impressive how cleanly he pivoted from “buy Elon’s stuff or the Earth dies” to “Elon is personally starving children in Africa.”
Must be exhausting keeping up with the script changes.
