It's the last day of August and the last gasp of summer, but it doesn't seem like the fall weather will do much to cool down the Left's white-hot disdain for red America.
The Left has made no secret that they despise the majority of Americans. The Democratic Party has consistently taken the minority side of every hot-button issue in a misguided attempt to resist President Trump. The problem is the Left has stopped focusing its political ire solely on Republican politicians and has turned their disdain for President Trump into blatant hatred of Trump voters and normie Americans who keep rejecting the Democratic Party's radicalism.
Here are just a few ways the Democrats have demonstrated their disdain for everyone who isn't one of them in the last two weeks.
We'll start with the unspeakably racist sign that greeted Virginia gubernatorial candidate Winsome Earle-Sears at an Arlington County School Board meeting. The AWFL who held the sign is a volunteer for Earle-Sears' opponent, Democrat Abigail Spanberger. Spanberger condemned the sign, but not without getting a shot in at Earle-Sears and her 'objectionable beliefs.' What are those 'objectionable beliefs' you might ask? Well, Earle-Sears -- like the majority of Americans -- believes men cannot become women just because they feel like they were born in the wrong body, and that it's morally repugnant to let fully-intact men show their penises to girls in locker rooms. Virginia Democrats blamed Earle-Sears for making them be so darned racist.

In response to President Trump cracking down on crime in Washington, D.C., and shining a spotlight on violent crime in cities across the country, Democrats decided the best course of action would be to ... blame red states for the failures of the Democrats who control most major American cities.
According to federal data, 13 of the top 20 cities in homicide rates have Republican governors. None of those cities are Chicago.

I'd argue that Pritzker has a point, but not the one he thinks he has. Red state governors should take a page from President Trump's playbook and deploy the National Guard to the cities in their states to address crime. Republican legislatures should pass legislation to withhold state funds from cities that don't adequately enforce criminal laws. Even if Democrats scream and holler, even if (in places like Wisconsin) a Democratic governor vetoes such legislation, get them on record as being soft on crime.
But the fact of the matter remains: when Democrats screw up, Republicans are to blame.
Another example of their disdain is how the so-called 'party of democracy' seeks to give itself an unfair advantage in elections (while simultaneously admitting red state voters were right about illegal immigrants voting in elections).
We have not one, but three, Democrats admitting as much in recent days. Gavin Newsom went on a podcast to say that ICE having a presence at polling stations would discourage illegals from voting.

Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker echoed that sentiment, claiming ICE in the state of Illinois would 'harm' the 2026 midterm elections.

And Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson said ICE would 'scare away voters.'

Contrary to what the Left says, not a single American citizen is concerned about ICE. The only people who are, are a) illegal immigrants who b) shouldn't be voting in our elections anyway.
But Democrats spent months opposing the SAVE Act, which would require proof of citizenship to vote, because they swore up and down that illegal immigrants weren't voting in our elections, even though -- as James Carville admitted -- there was likely some election fraud.
Turns out that was a lie. Illegals are voting in our elections, and they're benefiting Democratic politicians. If illegals were voting straight Republican tickets, Democrats would be the first to pass SAVE Act style legislation.
But the most telling example of disdain has been their reaction to the shooting at Annunciation Catholic Church and school in Minneapolis. Democrats not only sneered at the concept of prayers and faith, they -- once again -- demonized gun owners, the NRA, and Republicans for a crime committed by a mentally ill transgender individual.
Minnesota Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan called for federal action, because the myriad gun control laws Minnesota has aren't enough to stop gun crime, apparently.

Just so we're clear: a Left-wing transgender person, who was 'affirmed' and encouraged to be his 'authentic' self by Democrats -- the same Democrats who spent years telling trans people Catholics are domestic terrorists who want to genocide them -- kills two kids at a Catholic school in a state with strict gun-control laws ... and people in Montana need to give up their guns because of it?
Right.
When you understand that the goal of gun control is not safety, it makes sense, though. As I wrote the other day, if Democrats were serious about stopping gun crime, alleged cop killer Demond Taylor would be behind bars instead of walking the streets on a paltry $5,000 bond. But they're not, and he is because the goal is to turn the U.S. into the U.K. -- where self-defense is a crime and you're at the mercy of foreign invaders who will steal, terrorize, and rape your nation into submission.
Both James Carville and Robert Francis O'Rourke have made it very clear they intend to crush us if Democrats ever regain power, and the Democratic Party base is eager for retribution, too:

The Democrats have nothing but disdain for people like you and me. And we must return the sentiment at the ballot box in 2026 and after.
