Back on Easter, when the White House was promoting 'Trans Day of Visibility' on the holiest day of the Christian calendar, savvy Twitter/X users noticed the messages on the White House Spanish-language account were different. Nary a reference to the 'Trans Day of Visibility.'
Why?
Well, a major reason is Latinos are not as keen on the trans issue as others.
Which is why it caught my attention when an old tweet from 2022 started making the rounds the other day.
You’re not a mother if you’re white, you’re a birthing person according to NYC’s Chief Medical Officer

And yes, the original tweet is real and still up.

The urgency of this moment is clear. Mortality rates of birthing people are too high, and babies born to Black and Puerto Rican mothers in this city are three times more likely to die in their first year of life than babies born to non-Hispanic White birthing people.

So I'm not a mother because I'm white? I'm merely a 'birthing person'?
It is embarrassing that this person is the Chief Medical Officer of the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene: pic.twitter.com/gta5gbE20D

Embarrassing doesn't begin to cover this.
Do you know what this says?
Not only does it say that I am mere parts, degraded to my basic biological functions so men who think they're women can feel included.
It also says the Left -- which places primacy on 'gender identity' above all else -- doesn't really believe that.
If they did, they'd send out the same messages to all communities.
They wouldn't refer to 'black and Puerto Rican mothers ' and then 'white birthing people.'
Scotland recently passed hate crime legislation that would make misgendering trans individuals (and other 'hate speech' a crime. J.K. Rowling, a tireless advocate for women's rights dared them to arrest her in an epic thread. Guess what? They didn't.
And thanks to the Internet, Scottish police have been overwhelmed by calls for this absurd law, while Scotland's First Minister, Humza Yousaf, saw plenty of complaints filed against him.
Hahahahahahaha!
During a recent protest in Edinburgh, the police didn't arrest one woman for a hate crime.
But would we be saying the same thing today if J.K. Rowling hadn't did what she did?

Before attending on Saturday many of us were very concerned about being arrested for a Hate Crime. Groups were deleted from phones, burner phones & body cams bought for the day etc. However, there was no attempt by the police to enforce this law; none.… pic.twitter.com/7Yp9npismy
Not likely.
Also, there was plenty of hate speech from the trans activists. Including vulgar signs shaming lesbians.
As homophobic trans activists in Edinburgh wave placards saying lesbians should entertain cock - Mr @HumzaYousaf was very keen recently to say @PoliceScotland should monitor any “rise in homophobia”.

So where the hell are you?#LetWomenSpeakEdinburgh #LetWomenSpeak pic.twitter.com/CLNTfsa097
Where is Yousaf? How is demeaning lesbians not homophobia, under his logic and reasoning?
Why don't these activists fear arrest under the legislation they champion?
We all know the answer to that. Rules for thee, but not for me.
What's happening in Scotland, and what's happening in the US -- both in NYC and the White House -- are tied together. They are both acknowledgements that the Left doesn't sincerely believe what they say. But they'll be dangerous and hypocritical in their means to enforce it wherever they can.
No, this is about power and control. And whatever means necessary to achieve those ends.
This is about power and control, and about actual misogyny and actual patriarchy. Organizations will throw away decades of work fighting both of those things to kneel before men who say they're women.
Notice how there's no claim of 'toxic' anything when a biological man is exposing himself in a women's locker room and the women get punished for calling him out? No claim of 'male gaze' when Democrat governors veto legislation protecting girls' school athletics or when a trans activist films a woman in the bathroom? No cries of 'rape culture' when a sexual assault victim is accused of transphobia for refusing to call her male rapist a woman?
That is what this entire thing is all about: every single ideology and standar the Left tries to force on us is flexible when the rules are applied to them.
The Left won't enforce its standards consistently, because it knows -- ultimately -- they're unsustainable and unenforceable. So they sow chaos, division, and fear because it gives them the ability to offer 'solutions' that just coincidentally give them more say in your life -- from what you eat and what you drive, to who can enter your locker room, to the very things you think and say.
I've asked before, and I'll ask again: which way, women? The way of J.K. Rowling and the women of Scotland who are standing up for themselves? Or the way of the White House and New York's Chief Medical Officer?
When you push back against these petty tyrants, they fold like cheap suits. Look at how quickly Scotland decided it's law was unenforceable. Look at how the White House and NY's CMO change the message for different communities, knowing it won't play well in certain ones.
Fight back and we win.
