Which Way, Women: ‘Trans-Identified Male’ Gets 3 Years for Rape, Victim Called ‘Transphobic’ During Trial

(AP Photo/Peter Morgan)

For quite some time now, women have been on the losing end of the 'trans rights' movement.

We have been erased -- reduced to 'womb havers', 'egg producers', people with 'bonus holes', 'birthing persons', 'menstruators', and other euphemisms meant to make language more 'inclusive' to trans women (read: men).

Our sports and our safe spaces have been invaded, and those of us who push back against it get threatened, smeared as 'TERFs', or attacked. Riley Gaines was attacked while at San Francisco State University for daring to say women are, well, women.

Yesterday, Reduxx, the self-described 'Pro-Woman. Pro-Child Safeguarding. Anti-Bullsh*t' independent news website posted this story:

(The island of Guernsey is 27 miles west of Normandy, France)

From their reporter Natasha Biase (emphasis added):

Several months after a Guernsey Royal Court jury unanimously found a 19-year-old trans-identified male guilty of rape, the court has announced that Freddie Christian Trenchard, also known as Alyssa Christine Trenchard, has been sentenced to three years at a youth detention centre.

As previously reported by Reduxx, Trenchard, who began identifying as a woman three years ago, assaulted his victim after inviting her to his home in the summer of 2021.

Despite the victim testifying that she cried and screamed “no” during the attack, Trenchard’s defense lawyer argued that no intercourse had occurred and even accused the victim of being motivated by transphobia.

Trenchard’s July conviction hearing was attended by Guernsey Women’s Rights Network representative Jane Roper, who informed Reduxx that the court referred to the rapist by “she/her” pronouns. Roper added that the assault was described as “having been committed by a transgender female with her penis.

'Her penis' is a phrase that we never thought we'd hear. But Party of Science. Or something.

But they buried the lede: the woman, a victim of rape, is somehow guilty of 'transphobia.'

Going back, even to 2021, there has been a not insignificant number of lesbians who say they feel pressure to have intimate relationships with trans women. The BBC reported:

"I've had someone saying they would rather kill me than Hitler," says 24-year-old Jennie*.

"They said they would strangle me with a belt if they were in a room with me and Hitler. That was so bizarrely violent, just because I won't have sex with trans women."

Jennie is a lesbian woman. She says she is only sexually attracted to women who are biologically female and have vaginas. She therefore only has sex and relationships with women who are biologically female.

Jennie doesn't think this should be controversial, but not everyone agrees. She has been described as transphobic, a genital fetishist, a pervert and a "terf" - a trans exclusionary radical feminist.

And this isn't the first. In The Spectator reported on a study that found '87.5 per cent of the respondents said they would only consider ‘cis’ people as potential sexual partners', a statistic which led one of the study's authors, Karen Blair, to complain about 'harm' to trans people:

‘Ultimately, each individual has the freedom to decide whom they date or are interested in dating, and thus the article does not suggest that any single individual must include trans people within their dating pool. However, the article does suggest that examining and following the overall societal patterns of including or excluding trans people within the intimate realm of dating can be used as an indicator of overall acceptance and social inclusion of trans people. In other words, it is one thing to make space for trans people within our workplaces, schools, washrooms, and public spaces, but it is another to see them included within our families and most intimate of spaces, our romantic relationships. We won’t be able to say, as a society, that we are accepting of trans citizens until they are also included within our prospective dating pools; at the very least, on a hypothetical basis.’

Get it yet?

For years, the Left's rallying cry around gay rights was 'you can't help who you love.' And now, they're explicitly telling people that if they don't love trans men or women, they are bigoted, transphobic, and harmful.

It is especially galling that, after the #Metoo movement, where all a woman had to do to ruin a man's life was open her mouth and accuse him of rape, the default for women who are raped or sexually assaulted by trans women is 'the TERF had it coming.'

Yes it is.

Yes, it does.

It sure seems that way.

By screaming 'transphobia', trans women (still with penises) think they can access women's spaces, women's bodies, in ways they would not be allowed to if they identified as 'cis' men.

This is intolerable and unsustainable. Women have been reduced to body parts, and told that if they don't want relationships with trans women, we are TERFs or transphobes, our safety, our jobs, our lives are threatened.

Enough is enough.

The only way this ends is if women refuse to capitulate. Do not compete against trans athletes. Do not allow them to call us 'egg producers' or 'womb owners' or 'birthing persons.' Defend our safe spaces and our rights. It's the only way this insanity ends.
