I just saw Jim Acosta’s latest video from the National Mall and had to laugh out loud.
May have even scared the dogs a little.
There he is, wandering around what’s supposed to be a celebration of America’s 250th birthday, complete with state displays, fair food, and good old-fashioned patriotism, and all he can muster is complaints about 'shoddy displays' and 'tiny crowds.'
Then he tops it off by sneering at the 'Trump worship' and calling the whole thing sad.

Sad? What’s actually sad is watching a guy who used to have a front-row seat in the White House press corps reduce himself to this kind of petty, joyless commentary.

The event is literally called the Great American State Fair. States are showing up to represent themselves. People are waving flags, eating corn dogs, and enjoying a rare moment of national pride on the Mall. But because Donald Trump is involved, Acosta can’t just report it. He has to frame it as some kind of creepy cult gathering.
At this point, it’s not even reporting anymore. It’s just performance art for people who already agree with him. The rest of us are over here enjoying the fair, the fireworks, and the fact that some folks still know how to throw a party for America without needing permission from the media.
