Ever since 2020, my eyes have started to twitch (ha, ironic, right?) anytime someone tries to bring in or reference the experts.
It's true. I may find something worth looking into and considering UNTIL they bring up some nameless, faceless expert, and then I can't help it, I check out. I don't think I'm alone in this because the so-called experts really did us dirty five years ago.
And they still haven't apologized or been held accountable for it.

The director of the Food and Drug Administration’s vaccine division told agency staff in a memo that an internal review found that at least 10 children died “after and because of receiving” the Covid vaccine.
The 3,000-word memo, obtained by NBC News, was written by Dr. Vinay Prasad, director of the FDA’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research. In it, Prasad claims that agency staff determined that “no fewer than 10” of 96 child deaths reported to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System, or VAERS, between 2021 and 2024 were “related” to Covid vaccination. He said the true numbers could be higher, accusing the agency of ignoring the safety concerns for years.
So, CLEARLY, ABC News has a narrative here that they're trying to push ... especially when they bring in the experts:
Experts who reviewed the memo say it is misusing information from VAERS, an unverified reporting system that allows anyone, including doctors, patients and caregivers, to submit entries about adverse events they believe are linked to vaccines. The system’s own website warns that submissions can contain inaccurate, incomplete or biased information.
“This is sort of science by press release,” said Dr. Paul Offit, a pediatrician and the director of the Vaccine Education Center at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, calling the memo “irresponsible” and “dangerous.”

Hrm.
Look, both of my kids have always been up to date on vaccinations, and I'm usually pretty good about vaccines in general. Still, the expert's behavior around the COVID shot is enough to make anyone question its safety. Almost as if it's personally insulting to them to admit the shot may have been dangerous and even lethal for some people. There is very much of a, 'How DARE you,' with the response of this particular expert.
Or really, any expert, especially when it comes to COVID.
And I hate to break it to NBC and these experts, but until they are willing to be honest about the show ... no one is going to trust them again.
