When this story about the six Democrats and their Seditious video came out, I couldn't really figure out why they'd do something like this, especially when none of them can point to any unlawful order Trump has given.
Don't get me wrong, I fully expect Democrats to do and say stupid things for attention because they hate Trump just that much, but this seems like a mistake, even for them. So I have been writing about it and reading multiple posts about the newly announced probe and the FBI interviews, and still ... couldn't understand it.
I was just about to go back to my tried-and-true, 'This is just who they are as a party these days,' when I saw this post from Terry Virts.
Another astronaut.
And from what it looks like, a Mark Kelly's friend.
Arresting political opponents is usually the last step before becoming a full-blown police state.

At least now it’s clear who Republicans are worried about in 2028. https://t.co/wV9OjSSQls
When you read his post, the first thing you see is some insanity about a full-blown police state, and while that's stupid, that's not the important part.
Really?

RIGHT? It's what he said after that.
At least now it's clear who Republicans are worried about in 2028.
WHOA.
Wait a sec.
Is he saying Republicans don't think they can beat Mark Kelly if he runs for president? Because while I've made it clear I am no expert, it sounds like he is. So did Kelly do this so he can start building momentum to run in 2028? All signs point to yes.
Of course, it could still backfire ...
