Since Trump's first term, I have been watching various groups start up to oppose him in the name of democracy or whatever else they want to tell themselves, so they can pretend they're doing more than just complaining like a bunch of mean girls who didn't get their way. The ones that bother me the most are those who hide behind vets and use service as a shield. Don't get me wrong, The Lincoln Project and anything Rick Wilson touches is vile and repugnant all at once, but there is something really insulting about a group using service as a means to play politics, especially when they pretend to be nonpartisan.
THAT'S the kicker.
THAT'S the real bite in the backside.
They claim they're nonpartisan when it's clear they are VERY VERY VERY partisan. VoteVets is bad (they blocked lil ol' me long ago), but this group called 'Veterans for Responsible Leadership' is just as bad. I wouldn't even have seen them if they weren't attacking Winsome Earle-Sears, who is LITERALLY A VET.
This is the ad they want to put on the air:

Yeah, it really pissed me off. And knowing Abigail Spanberger's team, they will run with this and claim vets back her instead of Winsome because that is what these groups are basically intended to do. Oh, well, if the vets support the candidate, they must be good.
The problem, of course, is that it's not about vets, it's about pushing Democrats. Hey, don't take my word for it, just look at how they spend their money:

Oh, and if you go to their site, their blog is nothing but Trump hate, and the only candidates they endorse are all Democrats. All while they claim they're looking for responsible leaders to protect democracy, blah blah blah.
Fakes and liars, that's all the Democrats can get.
Especially Abigail Spanberger.
