Just when you thought the fallout from CBS yanking the plug on Stephen Colbert's snoozefest of a late-night show couldn't get any juicier, here comes Cameron Winklevoss with a plot twist that's is absolutely delicious.
For those who've been living under a rock (or perhaps in a taxpayer-funded ivory tower), let's rewind a bit.
It all started when Paramount Global, CBS's parent company, coughed up $16 million to settle a defamation lawsuit with President Trump over claims of "fake electors" made by their news division in 2021. Colbert, ever the loyal DNC cheerleader, took to his show to blast the settlement as looking an awful lot like "bribery." Lo and behold, three days later—poof!—CBS announces they're canceling The Late Show with Stephen Colbert after a decade of what can only be described as subsidized propaganda. Coincidence? Elizabeth Warren sure doesn't think so.
Big Chief Lies-a-Lot herself jumped on X to demand an investigation, claiming America deserves to know if Colbert got the boot for political reasons.

Enter Cameron Winklevoss, who quotes Warren's post and agrees—yeah, there should be an investigation into Colbert's 'firing.' But hold onto your tomahawks, Pocahontas, because Cam's not buying your victim narrative. Nope, he wants to know why CBS kept platforming this money-losing Democratic mouthpiece for so long in the first place. We're talking $40 million a year down the drain. Political favors? Illegal in-kind contributions to the Dems? Now that's a scandal worth probing.

Look, if Warren really wants transparency, she should welcome this counter-investigation. But we all know she won't, because it shines a light on the very media bias she's benefited from for years.
