Democratic Congresswoman Brittany Pettersen brought her newborn son to the House floor on multiple occasions, specifically to exploit him and pander to parents who don't want to show up in person for essential things like VOTING on legislation. Now, considering Pettersen is a Democrat, I should be glad she's not promoting abortion, but at the same time, it's pretty obnoxious to watch her use her child for cheap clicks and taps.
When you're desperate enough to use your kids as props, you've already lost the debate.

And not to be THAT mom, but dragging a baby out like this around so many adults with so many viruses, she's bound to end up with a sick kiddo. I suppose, as long as she's making the political statement she wants to, a little cold here and there for her son is worth it.
I can't even imagine using my kids this way. Heck, I still don't like them using social media, and they're both young adults at this point. I know how horrible people can be, and I would never want to subject my children to that.
Then again, I'm not a Democrats, so ...
