Chris Cuomo is lecturing MAGA about lying on health issues because some people have been questioning James Talarico’s recent absence and the campaign’s explanations.
I made the same face.
He’s demanding to know why anyone would bring up the Texas Democrat’s health if he’s really that strong, and he’s calling the whole thing fake news. I watched the clip and the accompanying post from Chuck Ross, and the irony is thick enough to cut. Cuomo is the same guy who spent the pandemic years as a media authority on COVID while his own family’s nursing-home policies were under fire and while he himself got caught violating quarantine rules.
Not to mention a neighbor filmed him outside when he was supposed to be isolating.
Yeah, he sucks.
Now he’s the one drawing bright lines about honesty on health matters.

Talarico’s campaign has already been caught using old footage and presenting it as current. Questions about where he actually was during that stretch of days aren’t coming out of nowhere. When a candidate disappears for a stretch and the explanations keep shifting, people notice. Cuomo treating any skepticism as an automatic lie doesn’t make the questions go away; it just reminds everyone that the standards only seem to run one direction.
