Full disclosure, I am not usually a fan of AI ads and even openly complained about some of the ads we were seeing in Virginia about the referendum from the people with whom I actually agreed. There's just something creepy about an ad completely done with Artificial Intelligence, you know?
And I get it, a human being programmed and wrote everything up that we're seeing in the ad, but it just hasn't been all that effective for me.
Until I saw this one from the Senate Republicans about Graham Platner.
They couldn't have made him any creepier if they tried, and of course, Plantner did his part by writing the very things you hear him saying in his voice-over for the ad.
Democrats are really scraping the bottom of the barrel with this guy ... I said what I said.
Watch and LISTEN:
Meet Graham Platner.

The guy @Tim_Walz is flying across the country to go campaign for. pic.twitter.com/HrKxfSftMz
Now, I don't know why the guy is topless on his computer; probably so we can be reminded of his Nazi tattoo. But the whole presentation is terrifying and yet very effective. It got my attention, even as someone who doesn't really care for AI commercials, not to mention I listened to every single awful word that man wrote. This is not a man who went through a bad time; this is not a man who's trying to make amends; this is a man who, deep down, has real issues with women and America.
If he were a Republican, the Democrats would have a heyday with him. But, since he votes like him, they're all about the 'guys with Nazi tattoos are very fine people' narrative.
Creepy, right?
