During and even after 2020, we all learned a harsh lesson ... sometimes, the experts are a-holes with ulterior motives and a political agenda to push. By lecturing Americans to trust the experts even though it was clear the experts were clueless about the things they were doing, the government taught us all not to trust the experts.
Now, when we hear anything about 'the experts,' we are immediately skeptical and even a little cynical.
I know I am.
Then again, I'm pretty cynical about most things these days after writing professionally about this insanity for a decade (A FREAKING DECADE, PEOPLE), but I think even people who may have had a teeny, tiny bit of trust in the experts will thumb their noses at them when they see this doozy.

“Then you can say, ‘Do you want to walk [or] crawl with me to the [changing] table, or would you like me to carry you?’” said the specialists, seemingly ignoring that newborns can’t yet actually chat up mom or dad one-on-one. “Observe their facial expressions and body language to check if they understand what is happening.”
The experts further noted: “This can be a time to help children learn about consent and how their bodies work.”
The authors of the report did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for a comment.
However, having heart-to-hearts with rugrats every time they go No. 1 or 2 could fall under the ever-controversial category of gentle parenting.
It’s an ultra-permissive, anti-authoritarian approach to child-rearing that prioritizes empathy, respect, connection and communication over rules and punishments.
Yeah. No.
Change your kids' diapers. Don't ask them for permission, do it.
Ignore the experts because this is REALLY dumb.
