As someone who has been covering this chaos for a decade (and babbling about it for far longer), even I was shocked when I saw Charlie Kirk get murdered in broad daylight in front of the world. I received a text, and I quickly asked if anyone had eyes on him. In my heart, I was hoping that it was a mistake or that it wasn't serious, but when I saw that horrible video, I knew. That didn't stop me from praying SO HARD, and when I read that he'd received blood, I had a brief glimmer of hope, but ... no. He passed away.
And the world changed as I knew it.
Heck, as we all knew it.
Beyond the fact that Charlie was a member of the Salem Media family, we'd followed one another for years; he was always good to me, even when I wasn't necessarily all that good to him. That was just how he was with everyone, especially people who hated and disagreed with them. And sadly, it cost him his life.
Naively, I thought the actual assassination would be the lowest of the low, but then the Left tried to claim the gunman was a conservative. And then when that was debunked, they tried to pull the 'both sides are violent' card, and yet we're not seeing Leftists and Democrats getting shot at.

Adding insult to injury, they're now calling for more violence against the Right, seemingly ignorant of the need to tone down the rhetoric, especially after Jimmy Kimmel was yanked off the air for being a lying a-hole. Ok ok, it was more than that but in my opinion, he was an unfunny prick who should have had his show canceled years ago. Guys, when a small-time writer like me gets more viewers in a day than Kimmel? Yeah, that's not good TV.
But you know, the Left has decided THEY are the ones being censored and going full-on crazy.
