Last night, after spending all day covering one of the most beautiful and traditional inaugurations I may have ever seen in my life, I fell asleep with a smile on my face, a corgi on my legs, and fewer worries in my heart because finally, we had a real president and he was already at work making things better. Or as Trump says, making things great again. I slept like a baby, and totally missed Trump dancing with a saber (DAMMIT) but guys, it was one of the best sleeps I've had since early 2020.
I have written about how it has felt like 2020 didn't really end since the Biden administration came in and made things even worse. They kept our kids locked out of classrooms, they tried to force us to mask our kids, they threatened to fire us if we didn't take a vaccine ... and then the real issues showed up. Inflation, inflation, and more inflation. An open, leaking border, dangerous communities, and more wars than we've seen in a decade.
It really is true, weak men like Joe Biden create hard times.
Finally, those hard times are coming to an end.

While I slept, the 78-year-old president was hard at work removing people who don't care about Americans or putting us first, which really should be the goal of any employee of our federal government. We are literally their customers AND their bosses ... heck, even Trump works for us.
And he knows it. That's why powerful Deep State bureaucrats really hate him, because they know he stands in their way. He stands with us.
That's also why, this morning when I crawled out of bed and saw that he'd been up most of the night working FOR ME, seeing pictures of him behind the Resolute Desk putting me, and my family, and you and your family ... all of us FIRST ... brought out all sorts of happy tears.
We are already on our way to being America again, and being great.
Again.
