If there's one thing politicians, particularly on the Left, love more than anything, it is lecturing Americans about subjects they know nothing about. They pretend to be 'experts' and, because the media often lets them get away with that, far too many people believe they ARE experts.
But karma can never be fooled. Every once in a while, she'll show up to deliver a humbling dose of reality to remind the world that most politicians truly are, to put it bluntly, mind-numbingly stupid.
Yesterday, Connecticut Sen. Dick Blumenthal went to an active platform with Milford Mayor Ben Blake to talk about the importance of train safety. Why were they doing this? We have no idea. Neither of them knows anything about safety. And Blumenthal was gracious enough to demonstrate his ignorance by standing on the yellow area of the platform, WAY too close to the tracks.
What happened next was a whisper close to a lethal dose of that reality karma likes to serve up. Watch:

But one thing that we know for certain is that he will learn absolutely nothing from his literal brush with death.
