Republicans are facing some headwinds leading into the midterms. Even though the Trump administration's list of accomplishments is significant, affordability issues are still plaguing the country. Of course, most rational people know that the cost of goods today is largely due to the disastrous Biden administration, but don't expect anyone in the media to report these facts. They will happily lay it all at Trump's feet to try to damage Republicans in November.
But quality messaging from Republicans can turn the tide back in their favor (in part because no one trusts the dead legacy media anymore, not even normies).
Last night, one of the administration's absolute BEST messengers, Stephen Miller, talked to Laura Ingraham and gave Republicans pure gold for their campaign ads.
Watch:
🚨 WOW. Stephen Miller just dropped this truth nuke:

"Did you know the cost of adjudicating even 1 fake [illegal alien] asylum claim is the same cost as providing FREE CANCER TREATMENT to 1 American citizen with pediatric cancer? Every single FRAUD they abet, we could provide… pic.twitter.com/pFEGeKnQsu
This is brilliant. It ties the biggest challenge for conservatives in the current political climate to the President's most significant accomplishment in the first half of his second term.
It also has the benefit of being true and accurate.
EVERYTHING costs more because of illegal aliens. From food to housing to healthcare. Everything.
And when this is juxtaposed with Democrats wanting to do all they can to prioritize illegals over citizens, not to mention refusing to even acknowledge the rampant fraud they've enabled, it becomes a talking point for every Republican candidate that will resonate with voters with tightened wallets.

The money US taxpayers have been forced to shell out for services to Biden’s invaders is astronomical. It would be much better used serving the needs of citizens. https://t.co/JRiQYKWoJr

Americans are poorer because of Democrats.
Just lay it out, plain and simple. Because it's true.
I think he's saying that the Democrats are killing Americans who have cancer. https://t.co/Pvhviwh0ER

Well, Democrats have accused Republicans of killing grandmas for decades, with no basis whatsoever.
What's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander. Especially since this sauce has some real meat in it.
🚨🚨😡 Cut all government funded welfare and benefits of any kind to illegal aliens (and their offsprings), non-citizens (Visa and Green card holders), and expired TPS recipients immediately! Exponentially mass deport and re-migrate them all!

And watch costs for everything plummet.
Granted, there are economic consequences for rapid deflation, but those can be managed over the long term. Meanwhile, voters will find their buying power greatly increased in the short term.
Opportunity cost.

I wish more people thought in these terms. https://t.co/vnBW3Zucnt
Illegal aliens are costing this country much more than people realize.
— The Seed (@theseed59788459) August 29, 2026
So, let's make them realize it.
Take Miller's point about cancer treatments and apply it to rents, mortgages, utility costs, and, yes, grocery bills.
This could get some traction https://t.co/vlLkJs4S9O

Ya think?
Remember Trump's brilliant ad in the 2024 campaign about how he was for us and Kamala Harris was for "they/them"?
Bring it back and retool it for illegal immigration and inflation.
How about this @SenWarren ??? https://t.co/NAjb0CwfFB

Well, that's the best part. They will have no answer.
DSA Communists are on the campaign trail talking about "free healthcare," but no Democrat will touch one of the most obvious and easily removed causes of skyrocketing medical costs.
Excellent reframe@JoshuaLisec https://t.co/WYmLtAmyDi

It's not really a reframe; it's just a proper framing of the issues Republicans need to be talking about.
And Miller is outstanding at framing the argument.
Every Republican running for office this fall — particularly those running against the most radical Democrats like Abdul El-Sayed and James Talarico — should take a cue from him and frame their campaigns the same way.
