Terrible Terrorist Tabloid: Rolling Stone Anoints Hasan Piker a Top 'Influencer' For 2026

Twitter

When a once-renowned music magazine lists among its most notable 'highlights' of the new millennium, concocting a rape hoax at the University of Virginia, making up out of whole cloth a fake COVID narrative about gunshot victims being forced to wait outside of hospitals, and, of course, glamorizing the Boston Marathon terrorist with a fawning cover story, we suppose nothing should surprise us about what uncharted depths to which Rolling Stone will delve.

And yet, somehow, they still manage to sink lower and lower with each passing year.

(And believe us, we only cited a few examples of the magazine's recent ignominy. We could have listed about three dozen more without breaking a sweat.)

For 2026, Rolling Stone decided to cover itself in shame with its annual list of the top "influencers" in America. Don't be surprised if you don't recognize 90 percent of these names. This is the magazine's attempt to assert itself as cooler than everyone else.

There's virtually no one outside of New York City who even knows who Pooja Tripathi is (not to mention most of the people IN the city), and she doesn't even have a particularly large following. But she's an "influencer" because Rolling Stone says she is.

There's another name everyone will recognize, however, and he comes in at Number 3 on the list, reaffirming Rolling Stone's absolute hatred of America

... to push Dems to the left.

Really? THAT is how they describe the dog-torturing, America-hating Piker?

Maybe the reason Piker "finds himself" at the center of endless controversies is that he calls for the assassination of Republicans, dances when they are assassinated, demands America's streets run red with the blood of capitalists, and still celebrates 9/11 as a terrorist act that America "deserved."

And they bent over backwards to include him on the list.

Piker has about 11 million followers across all social media platforms. That's far too many, but it pales in comparison to some of the others on Rolling Stone's list, like Mark Fischbach (77 million), Dhar Mann (171 million), and Darren Jason Watkins Jr., known online as "IShowSpeed" (195 million).

Well, to be fair, all three of those are basically foundational pillars of the current Democrat Party platform, along with "transing the kids" and "illegals over Americans."

Rolling Stone claims that they did nothing to enhance that photo of Tsarnaev and make him more attractive.

Uh-huh. No one believes them.

They love a good hoax over at Rolling Stone; that much is clear.

The only thing about Piker that is NOT fake is how much he despises the country that welcomed his family with open arms, not to mention the only country in the world where he could gain the attention that he has.

The magazine can't even boast half a million subscribers in 2026.

They were forced to slash staff multiple times in 2025, and we can only hope more layoffs are imminent.

It's weird how Rolling Stone left those details out of its description of Piker.

Huh. They left that part out, too.

Seems like shoddy "journalism."

But even the downplayed mention of "his criticism of Israel" is obvious gaslighting. That's like saying Hitler's only problem with the Jewish people and culture was that he didn't enjoy matzah ball soup.

LOL.

We shouldn't laugh. If Bin Laden were alive today, Rolling Stone absolutely would find a way to celebrate him.

Thank you, Sabrina Carpenter.

Whatever Hasan Piker's "culture" is, we don't like it.

And no matter how futilely Rolling Stone tries to be relevant again by including him on their list for shock value, it reeks only of desperation and failure.
