When Dr. Robert Malone popularized the phrase 'mass formation psychosis' during COVID, many people's eyes were opened. Regardless of what any individual believed about the virus and many of the horrific government mandates related to it, there was only ONE acceptable narrative. Anyone who strayed from that was not just wrong, but evil. They deserved to have their rights stripped away, denied medical treatment, and maybe even imprisoned. To this day, there are still people who believe in that single narrative, and not just the deranged hypochondriac spinster Taylor Lorenz.
Of course, mass formation psychosis long preceded COVID. One of the best examples of this same phenomenon that has been dominant for decades is the forced celebration of 'pride.' It was never enough to simply tolerate or accept people in the LGBTQ+ community (which is by no means a single 'community' if you ask most sane gay people). You had to CELEBRATE them with garish displays of flags, lewd parades, and men exposing themselves to children. Any individual or organization that didn't conform was a prime target for bullying by the alphabet mob.
'WHO DOESN'T WANT TO WEAR THE RIBBON?'
I don't think it's a coincidence that forced pride celebrations began to crumble during the COVID years. When people realized that they could -- and should -- rebel against being forced what to think about a virus, even be forced to sacrifice bodily autonomy in the name of Lord Fauci, people also began to realize that their thoughts and behavior were being forcefully manipulated in many other aspects of their lives.
Gradually, but unquestionably, the 'pride' movement began to see more and more backlash. First, it might have just come from individuals, but soon even many large organizations decided they wanted nothing to do with it. Corporations are backing out of 'pride parades,' the number of companies changing their logos (but only in the West, never in the Middle East, of course) to some gaudy rainbow mess keeps dropping, and everyone is realizing that no one can force you to wear the ribbon.
This week, the death rattle of 'pride' even came to its symbolic headquarters: San Francisco.
Yesterday, The New York Post reported that popular coffee chain Philz Coffee was pulling all pride displays from its 60 California locations, primarily in San Francisco, where the chain was founded.
San Francisco coffee shop suddenly announces it’s yanking all Pride flags as staff revolt https://t.co/uBP9s7T78f pic.twitter.com/RL3dgNlP4s

By 'staff revolt,' what the Post means is that some unhinged Redditors are whining about it.
Maybe the biggest sign that this movement is dead is that the alphabet mob tried starting a Change.org petition to demand that the flags go back up. To date, that petition has barely more than 4,000 signatures.
It seems that most people want to go to a coffee shop to, you know, get good coffee, not to be indoctrinated into an ideology.
Interesting — focus on the coffee, not politics — https://t.co/sf9CqvnGC3

The new CEO of Philz Coffee issued a statement that reads a lot like someone who is covering his butt so violent Trantifa rioters dont trash his stores.
'[Philz’s] longstanding support of the LGBTQIA+ community is unchanged,' Mahesh Sadarangani, who took over as CEO from the founders in 2021, said in a statement. 'This is a change in how our stores look, not in who we are. Our allyship runs deeper than what is on our walls. It shows up in who we hire, how we treat one another, and in our annual Pride Month Unity celebration, which returns this June as it has every year. Unity is fundamental to how we operate.'
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Blah, blah, blah.
Actions speak louder than words. And Philz Coffee's actions are speaking very loudly and very clearly: the TAs cannot force this on anyone anymore.
(By the way, someone should tell Sadarangani that appeasement never works with mobs. If they don't get their way, and perhaps even if they do, they almost certainly WILL vandalize his stores, thereby only further exposing their movement for what it truly is.)

Yes, they will scream. Yes, they will get violent.
But yes, they are losing, and they know it.
It’s a coffee shop. Pride not for sale. 🤷♀️ https://t.co/6xTHf2m2wa

Many of the harpies who are screeching about this are worried that having no rainbows means that the coffee chain is not being 'inclusive.'
This was always the lie with the LGBTQ+ shock troops. They don't care that their forced displays are exclusionary and off-putting to the vast majority of Americans. When they say 'inclusive,' they mean their tiny minority community -- and no one else.
It’s not enough to support the alphabet club- one must shove it in the face of every customer or else

If Philz lets this minuscule minority bully them into putting the flags back up, they will have failed. And it will come as a surprise to no one if the 23-year-old company begins shuttering some locations as a result.
I see a weirdo flag hanging, I don't go back to that establishment
— Mr D (@redwhiteblue198) April 9, 2026
This is the viewpoint of most of America. If Philz wants to stay in business, it would do well to heed what most of its customers want, not the obtrusive, bullying demands of a tiny sliver of people (many of whom probably don't patronize the establishment to begin with).
But the fact that this is happening in California generally, and San Francisco specifically, is the surest sign possible that the LGBTQ+ cult is in the midst of a death rattle.
Don't get me wrong. This isn't a light switch. It won't just get automatically turned off everywhere across the country. Leftists have worked for DECADES to force these celebrations in American culture. It will take some time.
June is coming soon, and with it will come more rainbow ridiculousness from many sports leagues, corporations, and blue cities. But the number of people participating in the forced pride march is shrinking every year. The pendulum is clearly swinging away from gender ideology.
Because if this is happening in San Francisco, of all cities, you can bet that the rest of the country is 100 times more fed up with the mass formation psychosis of 'pride' than Philz Coffee is.
