America was rocked the day before Thanksgiving when an Afghan Islamist who Joe Biden let into America unvetted opened fire on two National Guardsmen in Washington, DC. Like clockwork, the Democrats who have been inciting their followers to political violence nonstop over the past couple of years all faked being outraged.
At least, some of them did. Others (mostly the ones who don't rely on votes) chose to blame Trump or the National Guard itself. Because that's how evil they are.
Then, last night, we were shaken again when we learned that one of those heroes, 20-year-old Sarah Beckstrom had lost her life. (At the time of this writing, the other Guardsman, 24-year-old Andrew Wolfe, is still fighting to survive.)
Time for some more fake crocodile tears from the left.
One of those was the Mayor-elect of New York City, Zohran Mamdani. The same person who has denounced law enforcement, attacked ICE, pledged to defund the police, spoken at length about 'globalizing the intifada,' and called violence a 'construct.'
And he wants people to believe that he is sad, not giddy, at what took place on the streets of our nation's capital.
But pay close attention to the words he used in his tweet about Beckstrom. He is not sorry at all, and he refuses to acknowledge her murder.

I'm sorry, WHAT? Her passing? HER PASSING?
And speaking of unimaginable grief, who exactly was it who plunged the people of West Virginia into that? Mamdani won't say, of course. No, this is not a man who is sorry at all. His words are wind as he denies the reality of what took place.
Many took the opportunity to speak some truth to him, however.

Mamdani wouldn't be mayor if not for non-Americans who have invaded New York (many of whom tend to hate America). So, he will never denounce even the worst of them who commit political assassinations.

Sarah Beckstrom didn't just randomly "pass away".
She was murdered in cold blood on American soil by an imported Muslim terrorist who shot her while yelling "Allah-o Akbar.

Words absolutely matter. And Mamdani's words tell us everything about how he really feels about this latest episode of left-inspired political murder.
What is just as important as Mamdani's disgraceful use of the word 'passing' are the words he didn't use. He said nothing about the killer. He said nothing about bringing that murderer to justice, as well as any others like him. And we know exactly why he didn't.
I can say (and have said) many, MANY negative things about Mamdani, but I cannot say that he isn't a highly skilled and polished politician. His choice of words -- and omission of other words -- was not an accident; it was entirely deliberate and intentional.
He will pay lip service to expressing fake grief over Beckstrom's killing at the hands of one of his allies, but that's all it is. He is following the leftist playbook, page by page.
Mamdani has not posted on X since his shameful tweet above, but we know what will come next.
He will demand that law enforcement stand down in the face of crime. He will demand that DHS not come to New York City to remove people like Beckstrom's killer. And then he will denounce the right of Americans to own guns to defend themselves against criminals, illegals, and jihadists.
This is what he wants for New York. And it is what the left lusts after for the rest of America.
Their words, the ones they use and the ones they don't, tell us who they are every day. It's long past time we started to believe them.
