For the entirety of my adult life, I had to hear Leftist feminists lecture about the dangers of the 'patriarchy' as they railed against marriage, motherhood, and men in general. Not being a feminist, I never bought into their male-hatred. I've known, and continue to know and love, far too many good men to buy the anti-male garbage the feminists try to sell me.
But I'm also a big believer in making the Left live by their own rules and their own standards. They hate that because they believe rules are for the little people and because it exposes them for the hypocrites they are. There is no dearth of examples of that hypocrisy, but it's most prevalent in the Left's support of 'trans rights.'
In short, the Left believes men make the best women and that delusional men can magically become women just by saying they feel like one.
That's a great premise for a Shania Twain song. It is not sound public or political policy.
In the pursuit of this goal, the Left have embraced actual patriarchy -- not the made-up claptrap they tried to push on me in college, but an insidious, reality-denying, anti-woman patriarchy that puts our rights and safety behind the demands of men -- men who are often abusive and violent, and men who get ap erverse sense of sexual and social gratification out of harming women.
The media are perfectly content to aid and abet those men in harming women, as the Australian did yesterday with their sob story about Calum ('Hannah') Mouncey, a man who is sad he won't get to steal Olympic medals from women. Leftists insist men like Mouncey pose no threat to women. Guys like John Oliver and Neil deGrasse Tyson claim there is no biological difference between genders, but a picture of Mouncey with his teammates proves otherwise.
They also insist these delusional men pose no threat to women and our safety.
So it's fitting we go back to Australia today to dispel that notion once again.

Several hardcore pro-trans rights protestors were arrested following violent clashes with police and media outlets during a rally in Melbourne’s CBD on Saturday.
Police have arrested four people, while three officers were injured but did not require hospital treatment.
About 80 pro-trans rights activists arrived at Parliament House about 11am to counter-protest against an organised women’s rights rally over the state government’s new anti-vilification laws and women’s based sex rights.
The ‘Women Will Speak’ rally was organised by Women’s Voices Australia.

Time and again, the Left resorts to violence -- actual violence -- to force their agenda on an unwilling population. And they do so under the guise of 'you made me do it.' We saw it in Cincinnati, where local officials blamed the White victims for 'inciting' a violent mob into smashing their heads against the sidewalk. At Rikers and elsewhere, female inmates are punished for speaking out after being victimized by the violent men housed with them in their prison cells.
That's the hallmark of every abuser: blame the victim for your acts of violence against them. The Left is insisting men pose no threat to their safety while violently opposing women telling them no. The irony is not lost on us normies, and the Left is too mired in its agenda to see its own hypocrisy.
They have no idea they just proved me, and every other TERF right: these men are dangerous to women and have no right to our safe spaces or sports.
As I noted the other day, the culture war is clearly far from over. The Left was handed a loss in November, and the tide is starting to turn. But the Left plays the long game, and they will not give up. The Left will continue to bully, harass, and terrorize the rest of us -- especially us women -- until they get their way, or until they're utterly defeated.
