Secretary of State Marco Rubio was in New York for UN week and decided to say the quiet part out loud.
As he usually does. Let's be honest, he's not exactly known for holding back.
While the usual suspects were still genuflecting toward the “rules-based international order,” Rubio told reporters the system is broken, bloated past its original job description, and basically useless at stopping actual wars. Then he made the part that will send globalists reaching for the smelling salts: as long as Donald Trump is president, America will put American interests first — not the preferences of a global bureaucracy that can’t even manage a decent lunch order.
The State Department posted the clip, and it is exactly the kind of blunt America First talk the last crowd spent years pretending was too dangerous to say in public.
