The Harry Potter author spotted a post from an account calling itself Celtic Lass that managed to turn a discussion about women and treachery into a full-blown antisemitic rant. The poster claimed some special condemnation reserved for women — especially white women — was actually a "devious Jewish trick" designed to keep people divided.
Or something.
Oh, it got worse ... of course it did.
It then asked what threatens "the bagels" most: white men and white women working together, loving each other, and building families. Real subtle stuff.
Rowling, never one to let that kind of garbage slide, screenshotted the whole mess, tagged the account, and announced she had reported it for naked antisemitism. She even threw in a dry jab about how nuanced that particular take was.

The same woman who has spent years refusing to pretend biological sex is optional also refuses to look the other way when ancient blood libels get a fresh coat of online paint. One minute she's defending women's spaces and reality; the next she's calling out Jew-hatred that tries to hide behind gender talk or "just asking questions." The far-left crowd already despises her for the first part. Now the fringe conspiracy corner gets to join the party.
Replies poured in thanking her for standing with Jews at a time when a lot of people have gone quiet or worse. Others, predictably, tried the usual deflection.
The original poster even doubled down later, spinning more theories about Jewish origins of transgender ideology and Karl Marx while insisting personal friendships somehow canceled out the stereotypes.In a world where antisemitism keeps finding new excuses and new hashtags, watching a high-profile figure refuse to play along feels refreshing. Rowling didn't hedge, didn't both-sides it, and didn't pretend "bagels" was some clever code no one would notice. She just reported the trash and moved on.More of that energy, please.
