J.K. Rowling is such a total badass.
Beyond the fact that she created another WORLD people fell in love with and still love to this very day, she has been one of the most outspoken voices protecting women from mentally ill men who like to play dress-up and take advantage of women's sports and private spaces.
And even though I know she and I likely disagree on other things, when it comes to stopping men from wearing 'women' as a costume and appropriating our sex, she and I agree wholeheartedly.
The fact she still gets ridiculous trolls like this one tells me she is over the target ... still.

The 'just shut up and enjoy your money' line is such a lazy, predictable gotcha from people who think wealth should buy silence on anything that challenges their ideology. It’s the same tired script they pull on anyone successful who refuses to parrot the party line on gender.
Newsflash: having money doesn’t mean you stop caring about biological reality or protecting vulnerable women and kids. In fact, it often gives you the freedom to speak up when others can’t.
Rowling’s response was exactly what we needed — witty, unapologetic, and dripping with the kind of confidence that makes the critics seethe. She’s not vilifying anyone; she’s defending the rights that actual women fought for decades to secure. And she’s doing it while sipping whatever she wants in whatever fancy chair she chooses.
