I think one of the most annoying parts of the Left is how they treat past Republicans as if they are suddenly these great statesmen even if they spent eight years comparing them to Hitler.
Like George W. Bush.
But since he's all buddy-buddy with the Obamas, he's suddenly part of the in-crowd.
I know, it's stupid, but this is the Democratic Party we're talking about, it's not like they're all that bright ... otherwise, they'd be Republicans.
So this pic from Jon Cooper (who has me blocked, otherwise I wouldn't be using my post to write this) made me scowl and then laugh hysterically for a good few minutes.

The guy on the left instigated the Russian collusion hoax to stop the peaceful transfer of power.
The guy in the back improperly used US foreign policy to benefit his son … and 10% for the big guy.

These are the same establishment figures the media spent years selling us as the steady, adult hands guiding the country. Meanwhile, they racked up intelligence abuses, family grift on an industrial scale, documented sexual misconduct in the highest office, and whatever compromises the fourth guy made to stay in good graces. Decades of real drama, real scandals, real damage — and they get the warm glow of a group hug photo op.
Meanwhile, the guy who actually challenged their cozy little arrangement gets labeled the existential threat to democracy for mean tweets and refusing to play their game. The double standard is so thick you could cut it with a knife.
