I read a lot of engagement posts.
And let's be honest, people are on social media to engage, so there's a fine line between baiting, engagement farming, and just writing things you hope people will engage with.
All of that being said, since Twitchy basically deals in X posts (with a little bit of new outlets and Facebook tossed in), I am somewhat of a connoisseur when it comes to bait posts, so when I see something that catches my attention, something I think is super bait-y, you know I have to share it.
Before you watch this, keep in mind that the same day Jared Shult posted about gas prices in Trump's America, we saw gas prices were down across the country, with gas averaging under $3 a gallon.
Hey, if he was trying to remind us how much California sucks at most things, job well done.
But I'm pretty sure he was pretending that gas is up everywhere and it's Trump's fault, which, if you ever see any lefties on social media, you know they will eat this lie up. Anything to dunk on and hate on Trump.

Today the average gas price is $2.94, down about 20 cents from January.
He's not being honest. He knows he's not being honest. He doesn't care because that's not what this post is about. What he's trying to do is build engagement, rile up the Left, and piss off the Right.
