As Twitchy readers know, the tragic story of Adriana Smith, a woman who was declared brain-dead and kept on life support for her unborn child, took another turn as her son was delivered via emergency c-section. According to reports, he was born three months early, or around 28 weeks, and weighed slightly less than 2 pounds.
Which is when my daughter was born nearly 20 years ago; she was about five ounces heavier than he is, but that's not much.
His name is Chance, which I think is pretty clever, and it sounds like he was born right at the beginning of the third trimester.
Simply amazing, especially since we know his mom wanted her son to live.
