There's an old saying in the news and that's, 'If it bleeds, it leads.' And having spent some time now covering news and the people who supposedly WRITE about the news I can tell you from firsthand experience, this is true.
I can also tell you that covering the anger and negativity 24/7 can wear even on us tough, snarky, cynical, cold-hearted Twitchy editor types. Don't get me wrong, there is a lot of joy to be had in pointing and laughing at stupid, horrible people on the Left but even I need something warm and fuzzy every once in a while.
