InfantryDort Pens Impassioned Plea to Jeff Bezos: 'Give Us a F***ing Chance!'

The only problem with the Post's article is that these opinions were recorded in the Secretary of Defense Orders Book (SDOB), which just so happens to be a classified document. 

Even the Post itself acknowledged the importance of the SDOB, and the classified material it always contains: 

The SDOB, typically produced twice monthly, outlines the worldwide availability of U.S. warships, aircraft, personnel and weapons systems. It reflects the president’s priorities for the force, which are carried out by the defense secretary, and includes insights from the military’s top generals and admirals that inform the directives the Pentagon issues.

Naturally, whoever leaked the SDOB to the Post did so anonymously. Sean Parnell is already investigating the leak. If Hegseth ever finds out who the leaker is, and I hope he does, that individual or individuals will face some very serious consequences. Those consequences should and likely will include prosecution, not merely dismissal. 

Setting the leaker aside for now, the question must be asked. Why would The Washington Post run with this story when its only effect would be to jeopardize operational security and demoralize troops serving overseas?

Sadly, everyone knows the answer to that question. 

But one of the greatest champions and defenders on X of our warfighters, at home and abroad, InfantryDort, had had just about enough of the deliberate attempts by American media to subvert our military. He penned a lengthy, impassioned plea to Jeff Bezos to overhaul his editorial staff that only wants to undercut the administration and couldn't care less about who they endanger in doing so.

The post continues, and it is worth reading every word: 

... that if we die, our families get roughly $500,000 in life insurance. In much of America today, that barely buys a house. 

We know our lot and we’re not complaining about it. 

But the job is hard enough without having to wonder whether an American newspaper is going to publish classified wartime command deliberations because its newsroom despises the administration and wants another cheap political scalp. 

Fight the President, the Secretary, the Pentagon. Whatever, that’s politics. 

But when the ammunition for that fight is information tied to ongoing operations and the private judgments of senior commanders, you’re spending our risk to buy your headline. 

That’s the part WE need you to understand. 

Murphy already gets a vote. So does the enemy. Exhaustion, bad intelligence, mechanical failure and plain rotten luck all get votes. We volunteered to face those things. 

We did NOT volunteer to become collateral damage in the Washington Post’s feud with an administration it hates. 

Your reporters will publish the piece, watch the engagement numbers, and go home. 

Some American kid will still be standing watch when they do. 

Jeff, give us a f***ing chance. Come on man.  You’ve got to clean house at that paper. The journalists are too blackpilled to be of any use anymore. In fact, they’re literally harming us. 

Our brothers and sisters are in a worse situation now due to this reporting. Don’t agree with the combat operations, fine. But come on. Leaking an SDOB? That’s objectively insane behavior.

It goes without saying that this plea will fall on deaf ears within the Post's newsroom. They don't care. They operate with hatred of Donald Trump as their number one priority. And their priorities number two through 10. 

Everything else, particularly the safety of our men and women in uniform, falls WAY down the list (if that's even on the list). 

But perhaps Bezos will listen. I'm not overly hopeful, but at least there is a chance. 

InfantryDort wasn't done. 

He followed up with more tweets lambasting the cowardly 'reporters' at the Post — specifically Dan Lamothe and Tara Copp — for sitting safely at home while eagerly putting others in harm's way.

In an earlier post to Copp from June, seen in part above, InfantryDort called Copp "a hacktivist masquerading as a journalist." 

A description that she has earned over time and especially yesterday.

At the end of the day, WaPo will go ahead and publish classified info. Then their “journalists” will just take a leisurely Sunday evening at the “ballfield” like nothing happened.

Sadly, it is all too real. Because President Trump's famous designation of the legacy media is also all too real. 

In addition to the reporters attacking him, though, the post received a lot of support from patriots who love America and our military.

... What exactly are they getting out of publishing information tied to ongoing military operations? 

Whatever the answer is, it isn’t worth putting our men and women in uniform at greater risk. Nothing is. They need to do better!

The problem is, we know the mindset of the reporters at the Post. They will not do better. 

Not because they can't (though that is true for some of them), but because they don't want to. Their agenda is all that matters to them. 

But Jeff Bezos CAN and SHOULD do better. As I noted above, I am not holding my breath for that, but I know he will at least see the post, given how viral it went yesterday, and how many times he was tagged. 

It will be up to him to decide what he wants his newspaper to be. 

For the sake of everyone in uniform today, I can only pray he makes the right decision.
