Sorry, Democrats, You Can't Shame Us Into Submission Anymore

They say that desperation is the world's worst cologne. And the Democrat Party is more drenched in it right now than that one guy in the club back in the '80s who used an entire bottle of Drakkar Noir every Saturday night.

If you missed it yesterday, Politico tried to throw a Hail Mary to Jay Jones and the other Democrats who refuse to disavow his murder fantasies by leaking some group chat messages from some young, college Republicans. I am not here to defend the things those young kids said in private (some of the messages were pretty ugly), but, as Vice President JD Vance noted last night, nothing in those leaked messages even remotely approached what Jones repeatedly said to another Virginia legislator about how he dreamed of seeing Republicans and their children dead.

Vance is 100 percent correct here, and I applaud him for refusing to play the left's game.

Of course, that didn't stop Democrats from attempting to pounce (to use one of their favorite verbs). I'm not going to bother with hypocritical social media 'influencers' like John Pavlovitz, Aaron Rupar, the Krassensteins, or any of their ilk. We know that they will leap at any chance to deflect from what America knows, that they are the party of political violence. They also have seen that their 'influence' has dwindled to nearly nothing, so that just adds fuel to their desperation.

But it even rose to the level of the Senate Minority Leader last night, who tried to pretend that what he saw (and there's a pretty good chance he never read any of the messages at all, but staffed it out) was completely beyond the pale and that every elected Republican must grovel at his feet for what some kids said in private.

Sickening. Revolting. Vile. This makes you want to throw up.

This is the kind of garbage that the worst kind of people say when they think nobody is watching.

Well, I've got some bad news for you. Don't hold your breath while you're waiting.

Remember when you talked about SCOTUS justices 'reaping the whirlwind,' and then one of your followers tried to assassinate Justice Kavanaugh?

Why didn't you condemn your own comments swiftly and unequivocally?

Or, what about this? Has Schumer or ANY Democrat, in political office or the media, condemned any of this swiftly and unequivocally?

These are the Young Democrats.

No, they egg them on by continuing to call ICE agents 'the Gestapo' for enforcing federal immigration law. And then they hilariously try to claim that Antifa doesn't even exist. Right, Jimmy Kimmel?

What a ridiculous little buffoon. We can practically see Schumer's or Hakeem Jeffries' hand up his rear end, manipulating the words that come out of his mouth.

Returning to Jones in Virginia, not only have Democrats refused to denounce him, but none of them have rescinded their endorsements, let alone called on him to drop out of the race. As Vance noted in his tweet, Jones is not some college kid joking around (even if the jokes are tasteless). He wants to be the Virginia Attorney General.

And Democrats want him to be. Because they don't care about the political violence that lives exclusively on their side of the aisle. They encourage it.

And they certainly are not outraged by these leaked group chat messages. They only see it as a way to cling to power and salvage their sinking ship in Virginia, New Jersey, and across the country.

It's not going to work.

Late last night, the account Autism Capital wrote an outstanding post, showing conservatives what to do and say when Democrats demand that we bend the knee to their manufactured outrage:

When someone comes at you with outrage the best thing to say is “I don’t care.” Not caring takes the wind out of their sails.

This is exactly correct.

(And if you will forgive me a little more generational pride, it is SO the Gen X thing to say.)

This doesn't mean you have to use language such as the 'R' word if you don't like it. You can even be critical of those on the right who do.

But what everyone absolutely should NOT do is kowtow to the left when they demand that we play the game by their Calvinball rules.

The left has embraced and celebrated ACTUAL political violence in 2025. And no matter what they try to tell us, words are, in fact, not violence.

So, sorry, Chuck Schumer. We don't care about what you demand.

Sorry, legacy media. We don't care how many screeching harpies you put on the air to lecture us.

Sorry, Democrats. As Vance himself would say, we just ... don't ... care.
