Ben Rhodes Trying to Imagine a Foreign Ambassador Calling for the Arrest of New York’s Mayor

Ben "Hamas" Rhodes really is something — another Democrat with absolutely no self-awareness. Acyn clipped this from Fox News, so you know he must have thought it was flattering to the Democrats. Fox News asked Israeli Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon about New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani's campaign to have Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrested for war crimes the minute he set foot in the city. Mamdani said back in July that he and his administration were having "active conversations" about arresting Netanyahu when he arrived for the UN General Assembly in September. Frustrated that he, even with help from Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Hamas), couldn't have the NYPD put Netanyahu in cuffs, Mamdani "left it to New Yorkers" to decide if they wanted to stage a protest, which is "something that we will always respect."

Rhodes is clutching his pearls that the ambassador said that if anyone should be arrested, it's Mamdani.

Trying to imagine the ambassador of any other foreign country calling for the arrest of the mayor of America's largest city. https://t.co/7uGJd3WBnD

Trying to imagine a mayor of any other American city threatening to arrest a foreign head of state. https://t.co/QGurdFcNE2

The mayor of Dearborn has made the same threat.

I wonder what they have in common? 😜

Mamdani wanted to arrest the PM of Israel and send him to The Hague.

Are you being serious?

Trying to imagine how long you’d last if you were parachuted in to visit your pals in Hamas.

It wouldn’t be very long.

Next you'll say you've never seen a mayor call for the arrest of a foreign head of state.

Remember that time Mamdani said he wanted to arrest Bibi? I remember. Stop being willfully daft.

Trying to imagine the mayor of NYC threatening to arrest a head of state. But don’t have to imagine hard, Mamdani did just that.

You lose credibility by cherry picking.

The mayor has repeatedly called for the arrest of Netanyahu.

Even threatening to do it himself

Don’t be such an obvious douche

Then imagine the mayor trying to do the same to the leader of another country. Hope this helped.

I… I cant… I can’t put it into words, I don’t know what the words are. pic.twitter.com/iX1iPDJBmj

Trying to imagine you not being anti-Israel

— IsraelK (@IsraelKplus) September 23, 2026

Plenty of Rhodes' followers are certainly anti-Israel, not surprisingly.
