As Twitchy recently reported, Politico gave voice to an anonymous senior Pentagon official who was glad to see Tucker Carlson parting ways with Fox News: “We’re a better country without him bagging on our military every night in front of hundreds of thousands of people.” We’re old enough to remember when the military really got mad at Carlson for doing a segment on the feminization of the military after photos of a flight suit for pregnant people leaked. A number of senior officials from the Department of Defense took to social media to respond with tweets and videos, with an official Marine Corps account telling Carlson to “Get right before you get left, boomer.”
We say all the time that we have no problem with drag shows — just keep children out of them. So if this Navy sailor doing drag performances lifts morale, so be it. The video is courtesy of the news site In the Know, which is “powered by” Yahoo.
