Democrats think Republican voters are stupid. They point to the fact Republicans poll better with voters who don't have college degrees as 'proof' that we're unintelligent rubes.
This writer, with an Associates degree, two Bachelors degrees, and a Masters degree begs to differ. But, in fairness, degrees these days are often not worth the paper they're printed on. It's people with degrees like Laurence Tribe (Harvard) and Rachel Bitecofer (Ph.D in political science) who come up with some of the most asinine, idiotic arguments I've ever heard.
Plumbers and electricians and truck drivers don't have time to opine about whether or not removing the words 'climate change' from Florida state documents caused hurricanes, or that gender is fluid, because they're too busy working real jobs to be bothered.
Regardless, the Left like to use their education as proof they're so much smarter than Republicans and their yokel voters.
It's no wonder this line of argument -- 'We think you're stupid, but vote for us anyway' -- isn't winning those voters to the Democratic Party. Kamala Harris is not polling well; trends are favoring Donald Trump and Kamala is underwater with Black and Hispanic voters (when compared to Biden or previous election cycles).

Rather than take a moment for introspection and think about how they ended up here (with a failed candidate and on the verge of a second Donald Trump term), they're falling back on the tried and true arguments they've always put forward:
Voters are racist and sexist, so that's why they're not voting for Kamala.
Oh, and Republicans cheat.
How Republicans win presidential elections, according to the factual record: They cheat. This has been true in most elections in recent American history.

Excuse me, but what?
I had to read this bilge so you can be spared. But here's their argument:
How Republicans win presidential elections, according to the factual record: They cheat.
This has been true in most elections in recent American history, as I’ll detail below. But let’s start with a few examples from this election.
Last week, young voters in Wisconsin (it’s not known how many) received a text message that read: “WARNING: Violating WI Statutes 12.13 & 6.18 may result in fines up to $10,000 or 3.5 years in prison. Don’t vote in a state where you’re not eligible.” Those are sections of Wisconsin law that refer to absentee voting and the consequences of election fraud, but they could have been about jaywalking. The point was just to scare college students from out of state into thinking they can’t vote.
Sure, Jan.
"I haven’t even scratched the surface here, but these four broad categories—voter intimidation techniques, more direct threats of violence, foreign disinformation, and super PAC and dark money skullduggery—are standard operating procedure in Republican campaigns and have only…

Remember when members of the Black Panthers were at polling stations in Philly? We're sure they were there to help hand out bottled water to people in lines.
The Labour Party is going to campaign for Kamala in swing states, and is working with her to kill X (and with it, Twitchy). But that's not foreign election interference, naturally.
George and Alex Soros endorsed Kamala Harris, but that's not dark money 'skullduggery'. Because reasons.
Republicans don't cheat in elections. You know how I know? For starters, conservatives who make 'misleading' memes end up in prison.
If cheating in elections served Republicans, the Democratic Party would make election laws so strict that the Code of Hammurabi would look like a basketful of kittens.
The Left have asserted for years they're smarter than the Right.
And now they're arguing Republicans might send out texts about election law, and those texts might confuse our voters.
You know, those voters who are so much smarter than those stupid ol' Republicans!
So which is it: are Democratic Party voters intelligent, or are they dumb enough to believe a text message or meme instead of looking up voting information for themselves?
It's always amusing to watch the Left contradict themselves and expose how hypocritical they are. But this argument -- aside from undermining their argument of superior intelligence -- also exposes what's really happening here.
Kamala Harris is going to lose the election. And rather than look at the facts -- that they nominated a wildly unpopular vice president who received zero delegates in 2020 and zero primary votes in 2024, for starters -- they are going to smear the millions of American voters who don't pull the lever for Kamala.
Who are the idiots here, again?
