Wisconsin Democrat gubernatorial primary candidate Francesca Hong hates holidays. Most coverage focuses on her desire to cancel Thanksgiving. Her stance on the November gathering of gratitude has ‘evolved’ in recent days. The DSA Democrat has gone from hating it to loving it. Democrat political consultant David Axelrod says the damage is already done. We’ll have more on that in a bit.
First, here’s Hong flipping from ‘Cancel Thanksgiving’ to ‘Let me carve the Turkey!’ (WATCH)
Francesca Hong, 2020: Cancel Thanksgiving.

Hong, Two Days Ago: Thanksgiving is a time that's incredibly painful for many people in our communities.
Hong, Today: My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. I love it. pic.twitter.com/cA5Qg9Lm4S
Well . . it has been reported that she is bipolar ...🤔

I have to suspect this is also how she would govern.
‘I love Thanksgiving, I hate Thanksgiving, I love Thanksgiving, I hate Thanksgiving, I love Thanksgiving, I hate Thanksgiving…’
Axelrod says Hong’s dislike of Thanksgiving already turned off many voters. (WATCH)
David Axelrod bashes Francesca Hong's Thanksgiving comments; says some people will vote against her just because of that.

Calls some DSA positions "completely ludicrous."
Sorry, David. Big Tent. https://t.co/4stDw0ERqb pic.twitter.com/tMbfFcJHR8
I’m constantly amazed that the people that instituted and progressed the DSA nonsense now try to distance themselves from it.

Axelrod and his fellow squishy Democrats are to blame for letting these communist camels under the party’s big tent.
Now those commie camels are spitting in their faces.
Big Circus Tent.

Freak show included.
That’s all we ever hear.
— Sansal (@kodssansal) August 6, 2026
It’s a big tent.
More like a ginormous big circus
They wanted the big tent. They're getting it.
— Western Lensman (@WesternLensman) August 6, 2026
Lol, I guess they've never heard the statement "be careful what you wish for".

Democrats wanted to expand, but in the process welcomed socialists, communists, and Islamists.
Commenters say Hong’s hatred of American holidays was just a preview of where the Democrat Party is hurtling.
Yes, “Dave” knows the democrats are 5 years away from doing land acknowledgements. She is jumping the gun on the “Thanksgiving bad” taking point.

Schumer, Sanders, Jefferies, et al. are on board with the crazy DSA candidates. Just like they were with the Nazi in Maine. So, you're stuck with them. And you all get to suffer the consequences of this misguided adventure. As Barry might say, it'll be a "teachable moment."

Democrats have lost control of their party to the radical extreme leftists. If Axlerod is nervous, control is already gone.
— 🇺🇸 ProudlyDeplorable 🇺🇸 (@RobPligrimSr) August 6, 2026
They're coming for you, David
— Yon Kippers (@YonKippers) August 7, 2026
Axelrod and his party have already been captured, and they don’t realize it.
