On Tuesday, Democratic Socialists (DSA) and progressives (a fancy word for ‘socialists’), backed by New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani, obliterated establishment Democrats like Representative Dan Goldman. Former NY City Comptroller Brad Lander handily defeated Goldman in the Democrat Primary for the state’s 10th District. Goldman was known as one of the Democrat Party’s ‘designated liars.’ More on that in a bit. But it looks like he’ll be doing his lying from the sidelines now.

Goldman will likely soak up his defeat and still back the Democrat Party’s emerging radical socialist voting base, even though it utterly despises him.
