After a chaotic week, it looks like Joe Biden will finally be getting some much-deserved time away in Delaware this weekend

Joe Biden is the most hands-on president we’ve had in years.

As in, his hands always seem to be firmly gripping the railing on the stairs leading up into Air Force One so he can get the hell out of Washington, D.C., and back to the loving embrace of his precious Delaware beach house.

Well, to be fair, his late wife and son are still buried there … he just wants to check and make sure, probably.

It actually is genuinely shocking, in a way. The fact that he’s running away isn’t shocking, of course, but the fact that he continues to run away despite the horrendous optics and the fact apparently no one in his circle of handlers has thought about those horrendous optics are pretty shocking.

That’s a fair point … hopefully she’ll come out sometime this weekend that Delaware is a state in America that exists next to Maryland, which is another state in America.

He needs to decompress away from his otherwise active schedule of avoidance and frequent napping.

Perhaps the media can ask him if his mini-vacay indeed helped him ~~decompose~~ decompress. They haven’t had much luck getting him to answer their post-trip questions in the past, but maybe this time will be different!
