'Take a f*cking civics class'! Producer-director and 'proud Democrat' slams lefties for their Betsy Ross flag BS

As Twitchy told you yesterday, Rolling Stone beclowned themselves with a scorching-hot take on why the Betsy Ross flag is so problematic.

According to writer EJ Dickson, the flag is bad because it’s been appropriated by white supremacists.

Dickson failed to make a compelling case for that, though she did cite “many on social media,” i.e. serial liar Adam Best, for support, along with several people who said the flag isn’t really a white supremacist symbol. So Rolling Stone had that going for them.

Well anyway, Rolling Stone is hardly alone in suddenly deciding that the Betsy Ross flag is problematic and racist and whatnot. There are plenty of other liberals who feel the same way. I think we must do everything we can to keep the KKK from co-opting that flag. And it’s not for me to speak to what any symbol from the time of slavery might mean to black people. I can only say that the Enlightenment ideas that spawned that flag also led to the end of slavery.

I’m actually referring to the border. Trump isn’t Washington, in case no one realized… We have yet to live up to the promise of The Rights of Man, in fact we fall far short. But the flag is a symbol of the promise not the failure; thousands have given their lives for it.
