Rep. Brandon Gill went on Fox News and said the quiet part out loud after Austin had burned through another night of post-ICE-raid street theater.
The Texas Republican sat there as footage rolled of protesters waving Mexican and Palestinian flags, blocking roads, and treating federal immigration enforcement like a personal insult. His argument was blunt: Democrats aren’t trying to win over the Americans already here. They’re treating mass immigration as a long-term political project — new bodies for apportionment, future voters, and a built-in constituency that will never ask them to secure the border. After years of open-border chaos, Gill’s message was that the party of “democracy” has decided replacing the electorate is easier than persuading it.
And we love that he didn't pull back even a little bit when he said it.
