Rep. Brandon Gill didn’t just open the GOP’s midterm convention in Dallas — he walked onto the stage, grabbed one of the left’s favorite ritual openers, and flipped it into a full-throated patriotic flex. Instead of the usual apology tour dressed up as a “land acknowledgment,” the Texas Republican used the same setup to honor pioneers, patriots, and the country they built, and the clip has been tearing around X ever since.
In other words, if you were hoping for a somber lecture about stolen dirt, this was not that speech.
This was something very, very different.
WATCH:
.@realBrandonGill: "It's only appropriate that we kick this off with a land acknowledgment. I'd like to acknowledge that we stand here today in the great state of Texas and the United States of America-- the ancestral homeland of great American patriots, pioneers and explorers...… pic.twitter.com/bfSZh0bY9o

The usual whiners, haters, and antisemites are in his mentions screeching about Canada, AIPAC, and Indigenous People ...
Let's not forget about the attempted genocide of the original inhabitants. pic.twitter.com/fj73ci3Bw3

Weird to hear inspiring words coming from a racist because you know he’s only talking about white people.

Love it when people project their own ugly racism on others.
This is all the GOP can offer. The country can burn as long as they are owning the libs
