I saw this post pop up and couldn’t stop grinning. 'New study shows Conservatives are happier than Liberals.'
No way!
You don't say! I feel shocked.
The money quote? “Mental illness is emerging as its own political identity and is most heavily aligned with leftist political ideology and causes.”
No kidding.

The study, pulled from the big 2022 Cooperative Election Study, found that conservatives are way less likely to frame everyday anxiety or a bad week as some official 'mental health condition.'
We tend to handle our stuff the old-fashioned way: personal responsibility, a stiff upper lip, and maybe a conversation with the Man upstairs, rather than running to therapy for every fleeting emotion. Liberals? They’re embracing the label, especially younger Gen Z folks. The researcher, Professor Lauren Van De Hey, basically said this “mental health identity” is most pronounced on the left.
Decades of data have been screaming this at us. Conservatives report higher happiness and better psychological well-being. Why? Because we still believe in agency, faith, family, and moral clarity instead of grievance, victimhood, and the idea that the entire world is out to get us. We don’t build our entire political brand around being broken. We fix what we can, laugh at the rest, and keep moving.
Meanwhile, the left has turned sadness, rage, and confusion into a protected class and a recruitment tool. It’s almost like living in a constant state of outrage at reality doesn’t make you very happy.
Who could have guessed?
Oh, that's right. ALL OF US.
