As I've said before, in many, many, many pieces, I read a lot of crazy in my line of work. One should expect it when covering X (or Twitter) 24/7 for a living. Social media is insanity, which is why it's so fascinating to write and read about. I suppose if things were more normal, I'd be out of a job, so I should really stop complaining about the crazy and embrace it. Heck, I should send the crazy homemade cookies, and a thank you note.
And while I wouldn't call this CRAZY, it's certainly ridiculous.
At first glance, that is.
Adults 'discovering' they can make coffee at home to save money.
GTFO! No way!
But they're also MAKING money:
Gen Z coffee lovers discover new way to combat insane java prices with new ‘home café’ trend https://t.co/pO6qNoMyYu pic.twitter.com/T1XNet5cFE

From the New York Post:
It’s out with overpriced oat milk lattes — and in with DIY coffee culture.
Gen Z TikTokkers are ditching the expensive morning coffee runs and instead transforming their kitchens into cozy, custom coffee shops — complete with menus, pastries, and even barista uniforms in an attempt to save money.
Yes, if you make things at home, you will save money.
That being said, I do need to give them props for making money FROM this; truth be told, GenZ are some of the most conservative people around, thanks to a bunch of Democrats ruining their school lives and taking normalcy from them to protect them from a virus with a 99% survival rate.
And I thought GenX was conservative.
Turns out we ain't seen nothin' yet.
