J.K. Rowling has been fighting the good fight against the wack-job Trans movement for years. Honestly, I've grown so accustomed to seeing her in my timeline making mediocre, mentally ill men who like to dress up as women cry because they simply can't deal with the truth, that men can't be women. She has been beating this drum (and on these crazy people) for years ... five years in fact.
Rowling shared her first post tackling this issue and it was five years ago from today.
Powerful but still not quite the powerhouse she has become over time.
Take a look.
Dress however you please.

Call yourself whatever you like.
Sleep with any consenting adult who’ll have you.
Live your best life in peace and security.
But force women out of their jobs for stating that sex is real? #IStandWithMaya #ThisIsNotADrill
Her commentary on the post is as lovely as she is:

Five years ago today and my only regret is that I didn't speak out sooner. To every girl and woman who's paid a heavy price for fighting to retain their rights and boundaries, to every person striving to halt an appalling medical experiment on minors, I salute you. We will win. https://t.co/CLwIoV6UwZ

We.
Will.
Win.
So much is changing around us. People we never thought would be in our corners are right there, fighting with and for us. Like Rowling. Over the past four years, sane people figured out that even if they disagreed on a some things, they agreed on other more important things and ultimately were more helpful to one another when dealing with the insane. And I'm sorry, but anyone who thinks a man can have a period, get pregnant, and breastfeed is NOT sane.
J.K. Rowling, I salute you.
