We are a country divided and sadly, we have been for about 16 years, ever since Barack Obama became our president and told Americans we are horrible racists and a terrible country. Nobody has done more to hurt America as a people than Obama and I'm not even sorry for saying so. Don't get me wrong, people have been fighting about politics since politics began - I mean there's a reason you don't talk politics with strangers. But once Obama entered the Oval Office and convinced half of our country that the other half is so racist they don't know they're racist (even though we had just elected a black president) things got so much worse.
Say what you will about Trump but his presidency was really a result of Obama spending eight years crapping on Americans and their traditions, calling us bitter clingers and weaponizing agencies of the government against anyone who vocally stood against him. Sure, he was young, he was dapper, he liked music and basketball, but behind all of that was truly one of the most damaging and corrupt presidents in the history of our country.
Trump came in like a bull in a China shop (thank God), punched back at all of these ideas that had poisoned our country from the inside out, and the Left who had spent years being told how virtuous they were for hating their neighbors couldn't deal with it. President Trump was EVERYTHING America needed in a president ... and that drove the Left crazy. And now that he's in the race again and leading, it seems like the crazy on the Left has gone off the freakin' charts.
