Like most political hot-button issues, the recent debate over AI and data centers runs the spectrum from honest concerns to legitimate questions to, of course, grifters who either just want to make a buck or are actively working in the interests of China (though, thankfully, Eric Swalwell has not yet weighed in).
But regardless of where anyone comes down on the issue of developing artificial intelligence and the energy capacity needed to do so, there's one thing everyone can agree on:
Thank God Kamala Harris is not in charge.
As debates raged this past week, Harris has stepped into the fray, trying to piggyback on Barack Obama's thoughts about AI.
Accordingly, Republican voter registration guru Scott Presler, known on X as The Persistence, took a moment to remind everyone that things could be worse.

And she is the one who former (alleged) President Joe Biden tapped to be his "AI Czar."

It is reminiscent of when Biden sent her to Europe to try to stop Russia from invading Ukraine.
Her genius strategy was to tell Europeans that Ukraine is a country, and Russia is a much bigger country right next to it.

We're pretty sure that Elmo could outsmart her on his worst day, and that The Count is better at math than she is.
But we would hate for anyone to think that Presler or we are just cherry-picking one embarrassing moment for the former Vice President.

America didn't just dodge a bullet. We dodged an asteroid the size of the ones in movies like Armageddon and Deep Impact.
And Democrats, just like they constantly repeated that Biden was "sharp as a tack," insisted that Kamala Harris was a brilliant politician. Many in the media still do.
Let's hope we all remember that as we go to the polls in November for the midterms.
