'This You?' Scott Jennings NUKES David Axelrod for Phony Outrage About SCOTUS Criticism

Twitchy

President Donald J. Trump is not known for keeping his opinions to himself.

We've known this about him since long before he ever descended the golden escalator in 2015, yet, somehow, the legacy media likes to pretend that every time the President speaks his mind, it's some national, Constitutional crisis.

On Monday, the Supreme Court handed Trump — and America — a loss, rejecting the administration's plan to restrict mail-in ballots to only, you know, people who are eligible and legally registered to vote.

The Court's reasoning is pretty suspect, citing "time constraints" as one justification for rejecting the plan. In a blistering dissent, however, Justice Alito noted that the only reason for those constraints was that SCOTUS dragged its feet on the ruling.

Regardless, the decision is what it is, and the President was none too happy about it. He unleashed on the Court on Truth Social, claiming that "these are not the people I interviewed." While the SCOTUS order was unsigned, he was clearly referring to Justice Kavanaugh, who wrote a concurring opinion. He may have also been referring to Justice Barrett, who has ruled against him on some critical issues, such as birthright citizenship.

Naturally, the media reacted to the President's comments reasonably and sanely.

Just kidding. They've been throwing a non-stop hissy fit ever since.

On CNN, David Axelrod, of all people, claimed that Trump's response was disgraceful and unprecedented, apparently forgetting who he is and who he used to work for.

Scott Jennings didn't forget, however. He not-so-gently reminded Axelrod about a time when Barack Obama did the same thing — to the justices' faces — in a speech that Axelrod wrote.

Axelrod tried to respond with the Left's favorite comeback, "It's (D)ifferent when we (D)o it," but Jennings had him dead to rights.

Those receipts are even captured on video, which must come as a surprise to Axelrod.

And even though Jennings didn't bring it up, everyone remembers Sen. Chuck Schumer doing much worse by actually threatening Justices Gorsuch and Kavanaugh.

The Left really does rely on people being gullible and having no memory.

Even when those "protests" turn into assassination attempts.

Why, yes. Yes, he was.

In fact, Biden even went so far as to say that SCOTUS was "not a normal court," which is pretty rich coming from the guy who was nicknamed "Pedo Pete" — by his own son.

It's almost like presidents have First Amendment rights just like the rest of us.

But, of course, Democrats and the media (but we repeat ourselves) don't want those rights to be accorded to the Bad Orange Man.

All while ignoring the actual threat to our elections that goes hand-in-hand with allowing unfettered mail-in voting.

The decision opens the midterms up to rampant fraud, and the DOJ is going to have to have watchdogs everywhere in November.

No matter what the outcome of the midterms, though, we can count on David Axelrod and the rest of the legacy media to dial up some more fake outrage if the President comments about any of it.

Thankfully, we can also count on Scott Jennings to hold a mirror up to their faces, much to their dismay.
