Over the weekend, America mourned as we marked the 25th anniversary of the Islamic terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.
Well, most of America mourned.
Others, like AOC and Mayor Zohran Mamdani, giggled and flirted as victims' names were being read. And Governor Kathy Hochul thought it was more important to run off to CNN than to stay for the reading of those names.
As for Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Somalia), she couldn't bring herself to say anything. Not a single tweet, comment, or statement.
I suppose that's better than her last attempt, when she claimed, "some people did something."

But there was another tragic anniversary this weekend: one year ago on September 10, Charlie Kirk was assassinated by an indoctrinated leftist. (I'll include the word "allegedly" here because the trial is still ongoing, but yeah, Tyler Robinson gunned him down. Remorselessly and with a heart filled with hate preached at him by leftists like Omar.)
I only wish Omar would have kept her mouth shut about Kirk's anniversary, too. Instead, the last time she spoke about him was eleven months ago; we did not need a repeat.

"It is a tragedy that Charlie Kirk was killed in that way, but there is no legacy to honor"
"It was filled with bigotry, hatred, and white supremacy." pic.twitter.com/YgwOBTMBl9
I don't think any Twitchy readers need to be reminded about who is the person filled with bigotry and hate. It certainly wasn't the young man who traveled the country talking to college students and being polite and respectful, even when debating people who hated him.
I can guarantee that Omar never once watched Kirk talk to young people. She was probably too busy declaring her allegiance to Somalia as a United States Representative.
For many, Omar's venomous remarks were the final straw.
Why hasn't that little Demon been deported a year ago already?

What a sick hate filled individual she is…

time to show her the door, enough is enough.
why is this illegal immigrant still here in my country and getting air time

Even Canadians are disgusted by her.
I love Americans, but every second that this woman is in your country is a stain on your great nation. https://t.co/r7iz4QgzYe

It's good to know that a few of our neighbors to the North haven't lost their minds.
Many, MANY, need to go, but she is among the ones that should’ve been at the front of the line. Her removal would really he too kind, there seems to be a plethora of reasons to put her in prison for a long time. One of the other must occur soon. https://t.co/6sJvfpbTWJ

And this is why Omar needs to be expelled from America, immediately if not sooner.
It would be one thing if all she did was talk. As a free speech absolutist, I believe she should be permitted to say whatever she wants, as long as she is not inciting violence.
Except Omar DOES incite violence. She has called for it against millions of Americans who own guns, not to mention millions of American Jews (and Jews who live pretty much anywhere in the world).
Her incendiary speech is only the tip of the iceberg, however. While she has not been convicted of crimes because she is in the protected political class, she's implicated in many of them, from Somali "substance abuse clinics" (think Quality Learing Center, but for drugs) to her fake winery to her sudden explosion in wealth, where her books were later cooked after she got caught.
To top it all off, DHS Sec. Markwayne Mullin announced this weekend that Omar definitely committed immigration fraud by marrying her brother.

Why is anyone, particularly the man in charge of Homeland Security, still using words like "could"?
What is he waiting for?
Do it. https://t.co/CZqylPANyX

Why aren't proceedings beginning RIGHT NOW?
Deporting Ilhan Omar would be the ultimate (and welcome) October surprise for the base. https://t.co/cV0NMBUTHM

This is true. But it would also be a political firestorm, and the Trump administration knows it.
Regardless of the facts, the legacy media would be screaming from the rooftops about "fascism" if Omar were kicked out of the country. They would not care that this is exactly what she has earned through numerous crimes and countless instances of sedition.
Given that, we can rule out any possibility of Omar being given the heave-ho before the midterms. The administration knows it would be red meat for Democrats in many close races. I don't think it would sway independents, but it would fire up the leftist base to a fever pitch (as if they're not always frothing at the mouth). In midterm elections, as we know, turnout is everything.
Is kicking Omar out of America worth adding Abdul El-Sayed and James Talarico to the Senate? Probably not.
But this is more important than a single election cycle. While I can understand if Mullin and Marco Rubio don't want to take any action before November, they must act immediately afterwards.
Ilhan Omar is an unapologetic criminal, in the grand tradition of her homeland's legacy of piracy. She is not in America legitimately, and never should have been allowed in. And, as she displayed this weekend on the anniversaries of 9/11 and Kirk's assassination, she vehemently hates this country and will never stop saying and doing anything she can to destroy it.
If she is not removed from America, there will only be more of her in the future. Maybe it won't be El-Sayed in 2026, but it will be DSA Communists in deep-blue districts for many elections to come.
And it's not just at the polls where the mistake of not yeeting her across the Atlantic Ocean will be seen and felt. Allowing a terrorist sympathizer and confederate like Omar to stay in America is an invitation to another 9/11 and more political assassinations.
Removing her is nothing short of a necessary, critical step to protect our national security.
So, OK. I can wait a couple of months, if some short-term political calculus dictates patience.
But I, and millions of other Americans, are not going to wait any longer than that.
Enough is enough.
Kick ... Her ... OUT!
