Guess Who Zohran 'Definitely Not a Communist' Mamdani Quoted Warmly During His Victory Speech

Much of the media did some heavy lifting this year in the attempts to keep the "communist" label off of Zohran Mamdani.

For example, in an old tweet Mamdani directly quoted something Karl Marx embraced: "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need." After the Trump White House noticed and shared that quote, PolitiFact basically said "wait a minute, that's still not evidence that Mamdani embraces communism in his campaign or would as NYC mayor":

Some on CNN have also tried to push the "Mamdani's not a communist" defenses:

Mamdani's also talked in a positive way about seizing the means of production, but of course denies he's a communist (because apparently that's a bridge too far even for leftist/socialist Dems). Some in the media are obviously happy to help with that effort to downplay the truth.

But let's see how PolitiFact and CNN try and help spin Mamdani's way out of a quote from last night's victory speech:

Lefty media: "Nope, didn't hear it!"

Naturally the same media types who tried to make everybody believe that Hunter Biden's laptop was a fabrication as part of a Russian disinformation campaign will now keep telling us that there's no proof Mamdani embraces communism.

For a guy who insists he's not a communist (with the media's help of course) Mamdani certainly likes to affectionately quote communists a lot.

The New York Post sees through all that:

Good luck, NYC -- you're gonna need it.
