The inflation rate is at a new four-decade high, hitting 7.9 percent in February.
CNBC’s Rick Santelli detailed what the February numbers show:
#BREAKING: February inflation numbers are in (known as the Consumer Price Index) and they are indeed huge — up 7.9% from last year, which is the highest in 40 years.
Worse yet, it's an increase of 0.8% from last month.

That’s a big story, right? Well, not for everybody apparently. According to Newsbusters’ Curtis Houck, only one of three network morning shows covered the story. On the bright side, however, the network morning newscast that did cover the inflation story (CBS) sunk Biden’s claim that inflation is because of “Putin’s price hike”:

Two of the three network morning shows must not have figured out a way to spin that news in Biden’s favor, so they just skipped the story.
Remember when the Biden administration was dismissing rising inflation as “transitory”? Good times.
