As Twitchy reported recently, white woman and Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin took offense at the media referring to the vice president as just Kamala, something she'd done numerous times on X. A Community Note reminded her that Harris' campaign account was called Kamala HQ and that her campaign was hosting segregated calls like White Women for Kamala.
Her name is Harris or VP Harris. News reports calling her "Kamala" may not be intentionally disrespectful or demeaning but that is how she is treated. It's wrong.
